Research Platform

The Fuzz Foundation is committed to seeking both causal factors and viable treatment options for autism. To date, genetic studies have only served to verify the environmental connection to the autism epidemic. Yet, those are the only studies to be funded adequately by the U.S. Government. A disorder whose symptoms are likened to those of poisoning, and has grown exponentially in only 15 the last 18 years, it has become imperative that an research be completed in the arena of environmental causes.

To date, there are no drug therapies that have demonstrated results in improving the symptoms of autism. Yet, numerous parents have reported significant improvement if symptoms through dietary intervention, chelation, nutritional supplements, Applied Behavioral Analysis, and other alternative methodologies.

Unfortunately, while there are many successful therapies being utilized, it opens the door for bogus and sometimes harmful treatments presented to parents through unscrupulous medical and non-medical entities. Often times, parents are financially devastated and the children placed at risk.

The Fuzz Foundation seeks to validate promising therapies that can established in a peer-reviewed, evidence-based manner. Providing real answers to families, avoiding missed opportunities, and providing hope for families and people living with this disorder.
